Terms of Trade
last updated 22/6/2009
Please note these terms and conditions are subject
to change, and you will be bound by the terms in place at the time
of your purchase. The terms of trade are here to protect you, add to
your statutory rights & do not affect your statutory rights in any
way. By purchasing goods from us you agree to fully comply at all
times with our terms and trade.
European Union Customers
Items purchased by or for businesses will be classed as "B2B"
(business to business) transactions. Business to business contracts
are not covered under distance selling regulations and therefore
these goods may not be returned except for replacement under
warranty (if applicable) . Buyers purchasing a large quantity of
items will be automatically classed as businesses.
If you decide to cancel your order, you must give written notice
within seven working days after the day the goods are received by
yourself. We recommend you give written notice by Recorded delivery
and/or e-mail to ensure you have a proof of delivery for your
cancellation letter. You are responsible for returning the goods and
the full cost of returning the goods to us. You must ensure that
reasonable care is taken of any goods received. We will then e-mail
you with a deadline for returning the items. Items not returned by
the deadline are not eligible for a refund. UK customers must obtain
and retain a certificate of posting or Special Delivery insurance
from Royal Mail when returning goods to us in case of any postal
losses. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving the
written notice of cancellation.
Customers Outside the European Union
We do not give refunds on goods if you change your mind about
wanting them. Refunds may be given if the goods are found to be
defective in quality, description or performance. Proof of purchase
will be required. Our
satisfaction guarantee and 60 day warranty detailed below also apply
to goods purchased outside of the European Union.
Satisfaction guarantee
If an item is sold with our satisfaction guarantee and you are not
happy with the product, we will work with you to resolve any issues.
The satisfaction guarantee is valid for 7 days, including non
working days, from the point of our delivery.
60 day warranty
Our refurbished mobile phones are sold
with a 60 day warranty. This
warranty is valid from the date of delivery, for 60 days including
non-working days. The warranty covers existing faults in the item at
point of delivery, but does not cover any form of consequential user
damage, e.g. dropping the phone, water damage or damage to the
firmware (software) on the phone from failed attempts to flash it.
Any goods returned with user damage will be subject to repair
charges of at least £15 and standard return postage charges of £5 or
£7.50. Any phone returned to us and found not faulty will result in
a engineers inspection & return postage fee of £15 being charged to
you. Our warranty excludes normal wear and tear (superficial marks
and scratches).
Days where the phone
is out of your possession - e.g. in the postal system or in our
repair centre for repair do not count as warranty days. However, all
other days, including days where your phone is faulty but not being
returned to us or with us DO count as warranty days. Therefore, it
is important you return your phone to us as quickly as possible
after contacting us and seeking permission for a return. DO NOT post
your phone for repair unless we have authorised it. If a phone is
faulty please contact support@unimobiles.com.
Once a repair or
replacement for any component of the phone has been authorised by
us, you have 5 working days to return the item to us. If there is a
specific problem with returning an item within 5 working days, you
must let us know. We reserve the right to refuse a
repair/replacement if this timeframe is not kept to.
We usually issue a
maximum of one replacement phone, or one repair during the 60 day
warranty period. After one replacement or repair we reserve the
right to offer a full refund instead of a replacement, or request
you repair the phone at your own cost. |
